This modern take on a traditional design is ideally used in deeper or fast flowing water. Most of the walls of the feeder are solid with precision Hexmesh bait release holes, perfect for a slower controlled release of the bait. Specifically designed for fishing at distance, the lead is bottom mounted which improves casting accuracy in crosswinds. The unique lead shape means that the inside of the cage is completely smooth all the way to the bottom of the lead which massively helps to release bait into your swim on retrieve and avoids the bait to become clogged up into the bottom of the feeder. This allows the bait to release easily and also forces the feeder towards the surface on the retrieve, keeping your rig away from snags near the bottom. We've used a heavy duty mono and super strong crimping technique which means the mono boom is ultra reliable and doesn't run the risk of snapping off on the cast. …

Drennan Groundbait feeders are a hard plastic open ended feeder ideal for when groundbait needs to be packed in tighter than normal (e.g. when used on faster rivers ).

Can be used alone or as part of a system with the Quick Release Method Mold. The flat bottom design makes them ideal for all situations, including casting tight against the sloping banks of an island. The recess at the front of the feeder accepts a size ten swivel or a Preston quick ring, which will provide just enough tension to create a semi-fixed setup. Alternatively, they can be used with Korum Quickchange beads to create a completely self-contained setup.
