Pear weights

Pear

— sinkers, having a pear-shaped, somewhat expanding downwards shape. They are well suited for fishing on a muddy bottom using self-setting: the sinker is securely “buried” in the mud, the fish that has taken the bait pulls it out and sits securely on the hook. In addition, the shape of such weights contributes to the accuracy of casting.
