Drop shot
— sinkers designed for use in drop shots — a special kind of tackle for spinning fishing. The peculiarity of such equipment is that the sinker is attached to it at the end of the fishing line, the bait with the hook (usually silicone) is higher, almost perpendicular to the fishing line, and there is no leash at all. The optimal shape of sinkers for drop shots is very elongated, and the weight can be quite large — 20 g or more.
