— one of the main differences between a three-phase power supply with a voltage of 400 V and a conventional 230 V household mains is high power, which allows to create compressors of the appropriate performance for it. On the other hand, such power is much less common, mainly it can be found in specialized production facilities, and it actually makes no sense to create low-power compressors for it. Accordingly, 400 V devices are usually professional-level models, and before buying such a compressor, you should make sure that there is a three-phase connection at the intended installation place.
