Diesel compressors
— an internal combustion engine (ICE) that uses diesel fuel. Like any similar engine, it is self-contained and does not require external power sources, which allows the compressor to be used even in complete "separation from civilization". On the other hand, such motors are more expensive to operate than electric motors, their maintenance is more difficult, and the exhaust gases that occur during operation require good ventilation and limit indoor use. Compared to gasoline ICEs, diesel engines are more expensive; at the same time, they are more reliable and durable, and diesel fuel is not so expensive.
