— unlike chains installed on the entire wheel, belts and bracelets are supposed to be put on a certain area of the tire. Their working area can be either hard or soft: in the first version, it consists of a metal chain that is fastened inside the wheel disk using textile straps; in the second version, the bracelets are made entirely of plastic, rubber or polyurethane. Belts and bracelets are much easier to install on the wheel, but they are inferior to classic chains in terms of traction, reliability and durability.
