The most popular type of aerators found in two-wheel tractors is a verticutter, a device with a working part in the form of a horizontal axis, on which a series of rotating blades is fixed. Such an axis is placed across the movement of the two-wheel tractor. Thus, during the operation of the verticutter, the blades cut through the ground, leaving long parallel furrows several centimeters deep in it. In addition, such devices can also remove moss and various debris from the surface, further improving soil permeability. And due to the fact that the blades cut the grass roots, they also additionally stimulate their growth, accelerating the development of the vegetation itself.
