One of the main advantages of acrylic in this role is the "warmth" to the touch — even when it cools down, it almost does not cool the legs, and heats up very quickly under the flow of water. In addition, this material can be given any colour, it does not fade over time and is not prone to divorce. With all this, acrylic is easy to process and inexpensive. Among the shortcomings can be called sensitivity to scratches; however, they are quite easily eliminated by improvised means.
