The pedal that inspired this circuit has been around for a long time in various forms but most versions of it have too much of a “Hi Fi” sound about them, they fail to get the right mix of clarity and bass that is needed to make this overdrive sing. Brian Wampler has added further gain capabilities to this circuit, and added a bass control that controls all the harmonics from smooth and creamy to tight and crunchy. The sound this circuit delivers is a firm favorite in Nashville and Brian Wampler’s take is everything you would expect it to be – high quality components, a beautiful enclosure, and a glorious tone. If you set the gain low and the bass control up high, you …

What do you get when Brian Wampler, a man who has built an empire on some of the most respected distortion and overdrive pedals on the market, chases the guitar tone of Ola Englund (The Haunted, Feared, Six Feet Under), one of the world’s most aggressive-sounding and identifiable metal guitarists? You get the Dracarys. That’s what. This vicious stompbox effortlessly embraces any sub-genre of metal, thanks to its finely tuned EQ and Tight/Open switch. But tap into its decidedly modern soul, and the Dracarys will instantly morph your clean amp into one of the most savage and modern high-gain powerhouses this side of Mr. Englund himself. As Ola puts it, no matter type of high-gain tones you’re lookin…

The Dual Fusion pedal from Wampler Pedals is the first overdrive pedal specifically voiced to the new breed of fusion guitarists – but it’s so versatile it can find a place on ANY board of ANY genre. Fusion in its current form is a fairly new concept, with roots not only in theoretical jazz but rock; not classic blues based rock, but the more technically advanced “shredders” that first became popular in the mid to late 80’s. One of the forerunners of this genre is Tom Quayle. Tom is the UK’s finest and most in demand exponent of modern fusion. With a rich theoretical knowledge, a student base that contains not only “regular” players but also some absolute stellar names in the industry, and a …

Now widely regarded as the industry standard in guitar pedal compression, the Ego Compressor brings a new level of of control to what is expected and needed by today's guitar players. What does a compressor do? A compressor adds an element of control to your playing level – it will bring the quieter parts up and the louder parts down. While an ordinary compressor pedal can give you an element of control, a great compressor will give you the “feel” that other average compressors lack. If you’ve played a great tube amp when it’s being pushed hard, you’ll know what a great natural compression feels like. When we designed this pedal, the focus was ensuring the playing dynamics could be retained …

The Moxie is Brian Wampler’s twisted take on a vintage ‘screamer style’ circuit in a compact, pedalboard friendly enclosure. The original Ibanez Tube Screamer is one of the most emulated circuit designs of all time and has been pushing amplifiers since it was first released in the late 1970s. Capable of anything from light boost to a gritty drive that can send an amplifier into heavily overdriven tones, the Moxie is an ultra-flexible, wonderfully warm and rich pedal but with an extra bite. The Voice switch adds clarity by changing the entire EQ associated with this design giving it a more transparent yet robust tone. The Fat switch adds an extra dimension of gain with a custom …

The trouble with distortion pedals is that many of them only serve one function. We all know that the distinguished tone chaser sometimes needs extreme gain, sometimes needs mild overdrive… sometimes needs something that does both of the above and everything in between. The Pinnacle not only does that, but it also brings the most convincing “Brown Sound” to be ever heard in a pedal! With two separate styles of gain structure, a powerful mid contour (from scooped to mid hump) control and a control that squeezes out every ounce of tone from your guitar, you’ll notice that the Pinnacle is called that for a very good reason. Although extremely versatile the Pinnacle is well known for giving the “Bro…

With the Tumnus Deluxe, Brian has set a new standard. Thanks in large part to the design’s articulate-sounding buffer, all of the clarity, punch, and detailed breakup of the original Tumnus are still there. But if you prefer the sound of true bypass performance, just hit the switch on the side of the pedal for uncolored tonal purity. Brian also injected the Tumnus Deluxe with a level of tonal flexibility not previously available on this style of drive. Active bass and mid controls, as well as a regular treble control (the same as the pedal it was inspired by), encourages you to sculpt the tone from this pedal to the demands of your rig. Whether you’re boosting a driven amp or another …

The Tumnus, the most mythical and legendary overdrive/boost brought to you in a small enclosure; affordable, and most importantly.... available! There is one overdrive circuit to this day has been the most talked about, the most sought after, and the most mythical of them all. It’s big, it’s expensive, and it has certainly earned its place at the table. Wampler has painstakingly and faithfully reproduced that magical tone in all its glory in an unbelievably small package, and its name is Tumnus. Tumnus is a versatile addition to any setup, any style. With all the character, power, and tone of a classic fuzz – the Velvet offers all this AND the option to tame the beast and bring it back under control. Looking back through history of great fuzz tone, there have been some truly outstanding examples - in particular, the tones that have been achieved by running a fuzz into a screaming stack. The kind of tones that are just earth shattering in their depth, aggression and smoothness. We took the base tones from a very famous Wampler Pedal (one that has the characteristics of a famous stacked, EL34 driven, amp) and decided this was the best foundation to build the perfect fuzz and deliver it in a unit that sounds as good as it feels powerful. The Wampler Ego 76 Compressor is a pedal that pays homage to the iconic studio compressor, the legendary 1176 Peak Limiter.1176 Peak Limiter Legacy:The 1176 Peak Limiter, introduced in 1967, marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of studio gear. As the first solid-state peak limiter on the market, its FET-based circuitry endowed it with a distinctive “enhanced” sound, especially when pushed to its limits in the all-buttons-in “British Mode”.The Ego 76 seeks to reproduce that magic – the same foundational sound, but enhanced, delivering more energy and brilliance to your guitar tones.Studio-Style Control:The Ego 76 isn’t just about squashing your signal; it’s about enhancing it. Here are the …

Natural, transparent overdrive. The Euphoria has been world renowned for many things over the years, but primarily it has become famous for its versatility and that old boutique catch phrase “transparency”. When Brian created the circuit that would eventually become the Euphoria, he was working on creating a pedal that would go from clean tones to extremely fat tones while adding a bit of warmth, a natural overdrive… the goal was to make a pedal that does NOT sound like a pedal – it needed to be dynamic, have a great choice of tones (from gritty to smooth) yet be able to respond to the volume knob like a tube amp. The hidden secret of the Euphoria is the pre-gain bass control. This gives the tone…

Andy has toured professionally with a wide range of acts including Rascal Flatts, Gary Allan, Locash, Scott Stapp, and Sebastian Bach. Brad Paisley signature pedal. Paisley’s requirements were quite “simple”… it needs to be clean but get crunchy with some “beef” to it. It needs to have a fluid tone when soloing. It needs to add a little hair to the tone but then but then has to be able to give flat out ball busting gain, oh… but please do not wreck the tonality. It needs to have everything, in a pedal format, but do not make it sound like a pedal! Over a period of months, Brian made some circuits and sent them off, there were a couple of “tweaks” here and there to be made and then finally, when official “prototype #2.0” landed, it went straight into the live rack and out on the 2010 “Brad Paisley: H20” world tour. The truly grea…
