— initially, curtains include all curtains that have a relatively small thickness and allow quite a lot of light into the room. Even tulle is sometimes included in the number of such curtains, but more often it is still distinguished into a separate category (see the relevant paragraph). And classic curtains are curtains made of relatively thin fabric, often translucent, but not as thin as tulle. They are designed to be used as main curtains, which at night protect the room from outside views, and during the day can be useful for protection from the bright sun. However, we emphasize once again that the light-proofing ability of such curtains is relatively low: for example, they will be useful to those who like to wake up in a sun-drenched room, but will not be suitable for people who want to have full control over lighting.
