Surface-mounted

— the surface-mounted type of mounting is indicated for fans in which, during standard installation, part of the case (or even the entire case) is outside the air duct. The advantages of models with such installation are low cost and ease of installation; in addition, they do not have the strict size restrictions inherent in hidden models, which makes it possible to create powerful and, at the same time, low-noise fans. Among the shortcomings, it is worth noting that surface-mounted units do not always fit into the design of the room, and they are poorly suited for cramped conditions.
