— dryers installed during work on the floor or other horizontal surface — for example, a shelf for shoes. They are more bulky than internal ones (see the relevant paragraph) and practically unsuitable for travel use — however, they look neater, which makes them better suited for use as stationary devices, and the capacity can be noticeably larger. Floor dryers differ from wall-mounted devices similar in purpose, on the one hand, in ease of moving from place to place, on the other hand, in that they occupy some space on the floor.
