The model is very successful, I would even say that it is one of the best I have ever ridden. I mean, of course, the summer season, the tires are summer. The grip on the road is excellent, there are no problems with turns, no blockages. In particularly hot times there is no buoyancy effect, which is also very pleasing. Over the course of 2 seasons, the tread has not worn out much, although our roads are such that you want to go through all the Russian language... This model is a real pleasure to drive. The rubber is not particularly hard, but I didn’t notice any rolliness in the heat. It copes quite well with wet asphalt; there is slight hydroplaning only in deep puddles. On dry asphalt the clutch holds without problems, on turns there are no skids, and the braking distance is short. I decided not to take risks and take proven tires, I have winter goodyear, so I didn’t change myself and took summer goodyear too. I decided to try the efishentgrip performance model and it was right. Now I've been driving it for 3 seasons, the wear is about 60%, generally garbage for our roads. The grip on the road is excellent, there are no surprises on wet asphalt, and they don’t float in the heat. In general, I recommend it to everyone who drives around the city and has a non-aggressive driving style. I agree with previous authors - the tires are excellent. I rode on tires from different companies, but goodyear was the one I was most interested in. And it impresses with its comfort and durability. Now the 3rd season will go as I will ride on efficientgrip performance. Our roads are simply ugly, but the tires hold up well. In 2014 I bought a Peugeot shod with Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 195/60R16. I drove about 20,000 km over 2 summers. Residual tread 5-5.5mm. After 2mm of tread wear, it became very slippery; on dry asphalt, the ABS can be triggered even when braking is not very sharp, and it tends to spin from a standstill. It is not susceptible to hydroplaning, but it is scary to drive recklessly on it. Over the course of my long driving life, I have tried many tires from different manufacturers, but I was once again convinced that for a modern car you need to buy Michelin. I’ll leave with this one for the beginning of the season until the roads are patched up and throw it away! God forbid you get into a critical situation on these tires! Durable, not afraid of holes, low noise, economical, does not heat up during long runs. There is only 2mm of normal grippy tread, followed by rubber that is hard and slippery like plastic. use Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 195/55 R16 87H month or more |

I chose this model of size 195/65 R15 among many other offers (Michelin, Pirelli, Conti) as the best ratio of price/quality/reviews/expert tests. Considering my previous experience with buying Nokian and Conti with excellent characteristics but very low wear resistance, I opted for Goodyear. So far, there are no complaints, comfort has increased, and noise has decreased compared to the factory Bridgestone (although it lasted 50,000 km without issues - potholes, joints at high speed, it withstood everything. I hope Goodyear won't let me down either). + comfort (soft)

I have the same model on the focus 215/55R16, made in Poland. I’ve now been riding them for the 2nd season, no complaints about the quality. They handle very well in any weather, the ride is smooth and I didn’t notice any extraneous beats behind it. They are quite quiet when driving on dry and wet asphalt. In my opinion, these tires are mainly for the city, but here they are enough for the eyes.
