Bosch’s air fryer is a reliable kitchen helper at a very reasonable price. It comes with a spacious basket of 6.1 L capacity (about 4 servings), and the non-stick interior coating prevents food from burning and makes the basket easy to clean after cooking. When the basket is removed, a safety system is triggered and auto-pause activates. The unit also features dual heating elements (top and bottom), ensuring even cooking, juicy inside and crispy golden outside.
Control is via a touch panel with a small display that shows the selected settings and counts down the time remaining until the end of cooking. The Bosch MAF462B0 offers 9 automatic programs with preset settings. These include modes for bread, fish, French fries, meat, baking, poultry, and vegetables. In addition, there are programs for defrosting and keeping food warm so that finished dishes stay hot until serving. Users can also set the cooking time and select a temperature in the range of 40–200 °C manually. A useful addition is the auto shut-off after 10 minutes of inactivity: the air fryer turns off automatically.
