I'll say right away, I bought it very cheaply, at half the price of the JBL Charge 5, and this is an important point for assessing this speaker. Overall, it is good for its price, can play pleasantly, and thump too. The equalizer only has presets, but they work well. The bassiest one is "Kino." The finish is nice, like a velvety rubber. A lot of metal in the design. The size is not very large, convenient. In terms of sound - for its price (low, half the cost of the Charge 5!!! if you find where to buy like this without warranty and service) it is good but no more. At first, wow... but then, if you have headphones and a better quality system to compare with, you'll realize that the bass often breaks into a rumble. However, if there's nothing to compare it with, you gradually get used to this presentation, but it's cheap... The body is weak, vibrates, which also noticeably blurs the sound details. The battery lasts a little, doesn't suffice for half a day's activity, and charges slowly. In short, if you buy it cheaply, it's not bad. If expensive, then definitely pay extra for the Charge or the latest Flip, although the Flip is inferior in thumping. The price and bass are good for that price. The design isn't retro, but rather concert-style. The backlighting isn't RGB. Thumping bass Small battery Weak cord Delicate finish, poorly glued No traditional equalizer |
