A reliable companion for an action camera

The Handler monopod from GoPro is no ordinary monopod. It is waterproof and water resistant up to 10 metres, making it a great companion for active shooting while surfing, snorkeling, wakeboarding or going to the water park.

Selfie stick that doesn't sink

However, in itself, “water resistance” would not make much sense if it were not for a few important points. Thanks to a special float built into the base of the case, you will not be able to drown your GoPro. Firstly, the monopod will float back to the surface, and secondly, the orange float will stand out noticeably against the background of the water. Plus, the float acts as an image stabilizer when shooting underwater.

Works with any GoPro camera

Made from soft-touch neoprene, The Handler is comfortable to hold on land or in the water. And thanks to the universal headboard clip, it's compatible with any GoPro camera. For secure fastening, the set includes a special octagonal key, which can also be used as an opener for beer and drinks.

The length of the monopod is not adjustable and is only 15 centimeters, which significantly limits the ability to capture a frame. However, this is more of a feature, not a bug — after all, The Handler is designed for outdoor activities. And for a selfie with a large company against the backdrop of attractions, there are other options. For example, HARPER RSB-203 and KJstar Z07-5, which are extended to a length of about a metre and work with any smartphone.
