The model from the Japanese manufacturer Omron belongs to the category of high-end devices — both in terms of functions and, accordingly, in terms of price. This is an automatic wrist device, the main feature of which is the ability to measure blood pressure at night. Thanks to this, the device can detect signs of nocturnal hypertension and inform the user about it. For this, a special Night mode is provided.

When activated, the device automatically measures blood pressure three times during the night: at 2:00, 4:00 and 4 hours after switching to the night measurement mode. The monitor has been clinically tested for accuracy in different positions, including possible wrist rotations during sleep. A comfortable cuff does not create discomfort, control buttons recessed into the body prevent accidental pressing, and a silent pump with soft inflation and shorter compression time will not disturb a person during sleep.

In addition to systolic and diastolic pressure, Omron NightView is able to measure the pulse and determine arrhythmia — irregular heartbeat. The system stores up to 350 of the last measurements and displays full health information in the OMRON Connect mobile application, which is compatible with iOS 10 and above, as well as Android OS 7 and above. Thanks to this, the user can track their progress and share this data with the doctor to adjust the treatment, if necessary. In addition, useful functions include a movement indicator, warning about the need to repeat measurements in case of body movements, and an indicator of correct cuff fixation. The tonometer is powered by two AAA batteries. The kit includes batteries and a convenient case for storage and transportation.
