Family of 15-inch gaming laptops with moderately powerful components, top-notch displays, and advanced additional features (fast charging, Wi-Fi 6, LAN controller Killer E2600, keyboard with zonal backlighting). For the first time in a long while, Acer decided to modernize the familiar look of the Nitro laptops, making the design less flashy and more elegant.
They turned out moderately thick and angular with a stylish keyboard and a neat air intake grid above the main keys. The gaming nature is only betrayed by the aggressive air intakes on the rear panel, inherited from older Nitro laptops. All models are united by the use of a truly high-quality 15.6-inch IPS screen with exemplary color reproduction, high brightness reserve, fast matrix, and enhanced refresh rate.
By 2022 standards, a frequency of 144/165 Hz is the golden standard for modern games with dynamic scene changes. These are also rare gaming laptops where displays support NVIDIA G-Sync adaptive filtering and smoothing technology at the hardware level. The "hardware" aspect of the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-46 is based on 6th generation AMD Ryzen 5/7 processors with 6 or 8 computing cores and mandatory support for multithreaded processing.
Paired with the processor is new standard DDR5 RAM (ranging from 16 to 32 GB), a reactive SSD storage (PCIe 4.0 interface, up to 1024 GB) and a discrete NVIDIA RTX Ampere 3rd generation graphics card (RTX 3050 Ti or RTX 3060) with dedicated cores for hardware ray tracing and DLSS supersampling technology. As a result, Nitro 5 laptops can easily run demanding gaming blockbusters of recent years and enjoy a high frame rate even on high graphic settings. Thus, these not the cheapest laptops are able to attract quite demanding gamers who plan to upgrade an old laptop or find a mobile replacement for a desktop PC.

A cool laptop with normal hardware and components, the 6600h ryzen is the top one, and the card is quite suitable for itself, it’s strong enough for my toys, and I’m not that much a gamer, a couple of toys and that’s all, but for work I mostly sit at him.
