The AEG 8000 Series gas cooktop from the Comfort range is a premium-class appliance with convenient control features. First and foremost, it implements Hob2Hood technology, thanks to which a compatible hood can operate automatically—switching on by itself when the hob is in use and adjusting fan speed to the current burner power, etc. The model also provides StepPower and FlameLight functions: the former offers StepPower with 9-step flame control for precise adjustment, and the latter provides FlameLight light indicators for the selected operating settings.
The AEG HKB 64450 NB cooktop is also equipped with an electronic timer, which simplifies cooking control. The model has four burners: two large zones at the back, a small one at the front right, and at the left a wok burner with multiple flame rings. The latter will speed up boiling water or help execute complex frying recipes that require a combination of high intensity and even heat distribution. Other features include a high-quality tempered glass surface, flame failure safety (gas control), automatic ignition, and two pairs of cast-iron grates.
