The representative of the 4th generation of the GTS line of the Amazfit brand is positioned as a designer smart watch. The visually rectangular form factor, slim 9.9mm body and bezel-less AMOLED screen with Always on Display really look like an Apple Watch. There are also many dials available to users, the image on the screen pleases with richness and good detail (450x360 pixels), and the Zepp OS version 2.0 operating system began to work more correctly: the animation is now really smooth, which was not on the GTS 3.

Another plus of the model is good autonomy. Inside is a 300 mAh battery, which in normal scenarios does not require charging for up to 8 days. With constantly active GPS, autonomy sags, but there are three presets for its operation - accurate, balanced and energy-saving. And in the latter case, the watch must “stretch” at least 33 hours. A full charge cycle takes about 1.5 hours.

Significant Updates

Against the background of the predecessor of the 3rd generation, the Amazfit GTS 4 watch stands out not only with firmware, but also with hardware. It adds a speaker and microphone, so you can make Bluetooth calls from the watch, interact with Amazon Alexa and/or voice your workout information.

Another change is the new BioTracker 4.0 optical sensor, which has become more accurate in measuring heart rate, blood oxygen saturation and other indicators of health and physical activity. Qualitatively "added" and GPS with the patented technology of circular polarization. In addition to the correct determination of coordinates, there is also a tracking function along the track, plus a barometer and altimeter are provided to record the elevation difference during training.

For various sports activities

The smart watch provides 154 sports modes, of which 8 main types of cardio activities are automatically recognized. Also, the model is able to identify typical strength training, count the number of repetitions and the duration of rest. Since the water resistance corresponds to the WR50 indicator, it is worth swimming with the gadget only in the pool and fresh water (a separate mode for swimmers is available).

Among other features, it is worth highlighting the possibility of maintaining a women's calendar, the presence of 2 GB of internal memory for downloading mini-applications or musical compositions. But there is no support for contactless payments. In any case, Amazfit GTS 4 is a smartwatch balanced in terms of price, quality and functions.
