The Aquaphor Crystal H in-line kitchen sink filter is designed for areas with hard tap water. A special KH module is included in the scheme of the water treatment complex, which makes the water softer.
Capturing the smallest particles
Cartridges in the Aquaphor filtration system consistently purify water from visible mechanical impurities and dissolved harmful substances. The technological know-how of the filter is a hollow fibre membrane to capture the smallest contaminants. It effectively traps particles larger than 0.8 µm. At other stages, water is purified from organic impurities, active chlorine compounds, pesticides, petroleum products, and heavy metal ions.
Softening module
The model purifies water with a speed of 2 L/min. A full kettle of water will be drawn from the filter in less than a minute. From the formation of scale in the flask of the aforementioned kettle , the KH filter element in the design of the flow complex protects. The softening module provides cleaning at the level of bottled water, however, approximately every 200 liters, it needs a regeneration procedure with table salt.
Case modules
Filters in the flow-through water treatment system are changed in a complex way — they form a single whole with the flask. Accordingly, used filter elements must be completely replaced together with the housing. Each of the filters is inserted into the manifold and removed from it literally in half a turn and without the use of tools. Reliable landing of case modules is provided by locking buttons near each of the sockets.
