At the moment, I would recommend the laptop, as after researching the market for a week and studying reviews, I can say that there are no equivalents. There are no serious drawbacks either, the ones I listed are just minor details and nuances that might be useful to someone. I was looking for a laptop with a matte display, weighing up to 1.3 kg, within €120, and powerful enough for programming. This laptop is the most optimal, except for MSI, they are €16.67 cheaper, but they have a poorly designed display hinge, so I decided to pay a bit more. The cover is metal, the rest is plastic. It's quite light and fast. I've been using it for 3 days, and so far, everything is good. At the moment, there are no critical negative points for me. There are just a couple of drawbacks: 1) Battery charge. Maybe they're all like that, but when I bought the laptop, I looked at the operating time, and they indicate the usage time in "light" mode. I was very upset when the laptop died after 3 hours, instead of the expected 10 hours. I previously had a netbook for EUR 1,643, and it always seemed to last 5-6 hours easily. 2) Sharp corners of the case can rub the hand a bit 3) Fingerprint scanner doesn't work in Ubuntu, even with the latest version installed 4) Touchpad buttons click quite loudly 5) There were difficulties with the BIOS, it didn't recognize the flash drive. I had to use Rufus and experiment with the settings. Also, for installation, you need to switch the drive from Rapid to AHCI in the BIOS. But if you're installing Windows, there shouldn't be any problems. |
