Full size gaming headset from Asus with powerful 50mm speakers, built-in Hi-Res DAC, RGB lighting and cross-platform support (Win, Mac, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch). By the standards of gaming headsets, the model belongs to the upper price segment and is a slightly simplified version of the ROG Fusion II 500 model, but without a dedicated game chat volume control and a physical audio cable with a 3.5 mm jack. To connect to gaming devices, a durable two-meter braided cable with a USB A to USB-C adapter is provided. The manufacturer claims to support PCs (Windows and Mac), PlayStation game consoles (versions 4 and 5), as well as the Nintendo Switch portable set-top box and mobile gadgets. The highlight of the Asus ROG Fusion II 300 is the high-quality built-in ESS 9280 DAC with support for Qua...d-DAC technology. Paired with it are two 50mm ASUS Essence speakers with four digital-to-analog converters, each of which is responsible for a certain part of the frequency spectrum (bass, mids, treble and ultra-high frequencies). A combination of its own DAC and flagship emitters allows the Asus ROG Fusion II 300 to reproduce all elements of the frequency spectrum with high quality, allowing the player to clearly hear both loud explosions and the creak of the floorboards on which the enemy is sneaking. The signal-to-noise ratio declared by the manufacturer is 130 dB, while most competitors without a built-in DAC are limited to 90-100 dB. Additional support for 7.1 virtual multi-channel audio enhances game positioning and enhances immersion. Dual AI Beamforming microphones with AI Noise Cancelation support and Discord/TeamSpeak certification are used for speech transmission during game or phone calls. To emphasize the high status of the device, Asus designers placed a neat LED strip on the side of each bowl with support for the Asus Aura Sync backlight synchronization system.
