Three types of connection: Bluetooth, radio channel or mini-Jack (3.5 mm). Excellent autonomy.

The representative of Asus's ROG lineup are gaming headphones for gamers belonging to the premium price segment. The model features a distinctive gaming design with RGB lighting on the full-size ear cups. Among other design characteristics, it highlights a closed-back design with faux leather ear pads (also included is a second set — textile) and a detachable microphone on a flexible arm with the ability to mute.

The Asus ROG Delta II headphones can be considered multiplatform, as they are suitable for use with various devices, from a smartphone or tablet to gaming consoles like PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, etc. Versatility is further ensured by three connectivity options — wired with a detachable mini-Jack cable (3.5 mm), Bluetooth, or via a 2.4 GHz radio channel using the included USB-C dongle.

Additionally, the DualFlow Audio technology allows simultaneous audio playback from two sources. High sound quality is confirmed by Hi-Res Audio certification and the use of large 50-millimeter drivers — diaphragm drivers with titanium coating. Controls are located on the large ear cups and include several buttons, switches, and a volume control wheel. An excellent battery reserve is provided by a capacious 1800 mAh battery: a full charge ensures up to 110 hours of operation, plus there is fast charging support — 15 minutes for 11 hours.

excellent model, I really liked it

These are just unbelievably cool headphones. The support for simultaneous connection of multiple devices is essential when you're working on two gadgets at once. The sound is top-notch, juicy, bassy, and clear. Positioning also works perfectly, allowing you to precisely understand the direction of the sound. The microphone is also very good for gaming. The battery holds up wonderfully.

advanced wireless gaming headset!
22 December 2024
Hello everyone! Before the New Year I gave myself a present, compared competitors, and there are quite a few of them, I preferred Asus Rog Delta 2. (Before that I used a budget version of headphones, for example, Edifier. Do not judge strictly. I would like to note that Asus can surprise fans with how the headphones are packaged, it was nice to open the box and enjoy how everything is packaged. The delivery set includes a detachable microphone, a 3.5 mm cable, a USB Type-C - Type-A cable, a USB Type-A - Type-C adapter, a Type-C dongle ROG SpeedNova. Cups - the cups themselves are installed at a certain angle relative to the headrest, which only adds convenience when using the headset, a rotating mechanism for attaching the cups, the headband is characterized by a fabric covering, under which the same foam material is hidden as in the ear pads to achieve a high level of comfort. I noticed that the sound is different with fabric ear pads, there is noticeably more bass, but the middle falls below!

Combined Connectivity for Maximum Versatility

The second generation of the ROG Delta headset by Asus can confidently be called a universal solution. The model supports three connection options: wired via a mini-jack (3.5mm), wireless via radio with the included dongle, and Bluetooth. Thanks to this, the headset is compatible not only with PlayStation 5 and 4, gaming PCs, and Nintendo Switch but also with Xbox (via cable) and any mobile devices (via Bluetooth). Additional flexibility is provided by DualFlow Audio technology, allowing simultaneous operation with two audio sources — for example, listening to a game or movie while taking calls.

Quality Sound

The Asus ROG Delta II is equipped with 50mm dynamic drivers, delivering balanced and detailed sound without the excessive bass common to many gaming models. Frequency positioning is precise, and support for 24-bit/96kHz format confirms a high-level audio path. The microphone features noise cancellation, keeping communication clear and understandable in gaming chats or phone calls.

The gaming character of the model is highlighted by RGB lighting with customizable effects and the ability to sync with other devices in the Asus ecosystem. With the lighting active, the 1800mAh battery provides about 24 hours of operation, and with it off — up to 110 hours via radio and up to 140 hours via Bluetooth. A quick charge of 15 minutes adds approximately 11 hours of autonomy.

Comfortable Fit and Extended Kit

The headset's ergonomics are well thought out: swivel cups, convenient control element placement, and even weight distribution (318 grams) make the model comfortable even during extended use. The package includes two sets of ear pads — one made of leatherette and another from breathable fabric, allowing you to choose the best option for the season and personal preferences.

The only downsides are the somewhat unstable and occasionally inconvenient proprietary Armoury Crate software. However, all settings are saved in the headset's memory, so the need to frequently refer to the program is minimal.
