Asus' line of large-format (18-inch) laptops joins the company's ROG Strix gaming line, which includes uncompromising portable PCs. Laptops represent an advanced and high price segment, and therefore are able to interest mainly demanding gamers, professional e-sportsmen and fans of multimedia entertainment. The models have a body made of plastic and aluminium, have an RGB keyboard backlight (it can be simply multi-zone or even for each of the keys) with the Aura Sync synchronization function, a 90 Wh rechargeable battery with fast charging (half the capacity is replenished in 30 minutes) and support for Power Delivery - for powering peripherals or mobile gadgets via USB C.

Asus ROG Strix G18 2023 G814JI laptops are equipped with powerful hardware, including Intel processors with 13th generation Raptor Lake architecture: depending on the configuration, this can be a 14-core Core i7 or even a Core i9 with 24 cores. In addition, there is from 16 GB of DDR5-4800 MHz RAM, a solid-state drive from 1 to 4 TB and a discrete graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070.

The latter has 8 GB of GDDR6 memory “on board”, supports ray tracing and Advanced Optimus optimization, as well as promotes consistently high fps in popular AAA games. All laptops in the line are equipped with an 18-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, a high refresh rate of 240 Hz, and a fast response (from 3 ms), which can become an additional competitive advantage in games.
