Model overview based on user reviews
The Asus ROG Strix XG27ACS is a highly regarded gaming monitor that impresses with its QUAD HD resolution and 180 Hz refresh rate, offering a significant upgrade over standard FULL HD displays. Users appreciate its excellent color calibration and brightness, with many finding the factory settings more than sufficient. The monitor's design is praised for its versatility, allowing it to be adjusted in almost all directions. However, some users noted the presence of flares in the corners, particularly noticeable in dark settings, which might be a concern for those sensitive to such issues. Despite this, the monitor is considered a great value for its price, with its high-quality assembly and certification for no dead pixels adding to its appeal. While it comes with a DisplayPort cable, the inclusion of HDMI and USB-C cables would have been appreciated. Overall, the Asus ROG Strix XG27ACS is recommended for those seeking a reliable and visually impressive gaming monitor.
Pros

Cons

You can take it, there's a big difference, it's much nicer to sit at the computer!

I am just shocked by the quality. I used to have a FULL HD monitor and was always irritated by 60 Hz. If you compare FULL HD monitors with QUAD HD, it's like night and day.
60Hz, QUAD HD, can be turned almost in all directions
I think there are no defects, 0 dead pixels.

It's just not a bad monitor for its price, but it has enough competitors.

I've been using it for 3 months, bought it for Christmas holidays in Telemart for 12000 UAH.
The picture quality is the same as in 32" 1440p models if compared head-to-head.
For work and single games or movies, take 32", you won't regret it. For everything else, 27" is a comfortable size.
High-quality assembly, not a bad matrix that fully meets its performance characteristics (manufacturer BOE - Chinese manufacturer).
Certificate from the factory that the matrix has been tested for dead pixels.
The flares in the corners are very noticeable in the dark, before that I had an AOC 32" 1440p also with an IPS matrix from the same Chinese manufacturer BOE. And there the flares were simply minimal around all edges, you practically don't notice them. Of course, I didn't expect such a reason, especially from such a line. Besides, the difference between them was 5 years.
If you are considering buying a 2k monitor, get this one and you won't regret it.

The best monitor for your money. The most successful design from ASUS, which will suit everyone. In white, the monitor looks just great.
The matrix and colors are very well calibrated out of the box. Very bright (I set the brightness to 35%, no more is needed). Windows software to manage settings, instead of the back buttons.
Only a DisplayPort cable is included, HDMI and USB-C could be added.
