BaByliss offers an advanced styler that will help you straighten or curl your hair and at the same time take care of its health. Several technologies are provided for this. Firstly, the model has a steam humidification function. During operation, the plates produce hot steam, which makes the hair more manageable, saturates it with moisture and prevents overdrying. To operate the steam humidifier, a small 12 ml water container is built into the body.

Secondly, the styler has a classic ionization system. Negatively charged ions settle on the hair, prevent its electrification, add shine, smoothness and silkiness. In addition, BaByliss Steam Shine ST496E has an Advanced Ceramics heating system - thanks to it, the heat is evenly distributed between the ceramic plates. Another feature of the device is two small brushes on the bottom plate: they comb the strands during straightening and, in fact, replace the usual comb that is used during the procedure.

The straightener is equipped with two 39 mm wide plates and five temperature modes with settings from 150 °C to 230 °C. These values are enough to select the optimal temperature for any hair type. The auto-off function is responsible for safety, which stops heating the device left unattended after a certain time. In addition, it is worth noting the fast heating, the presence of LED indicators for power and temperature modes, as well as a fairly long (2.5 meters) power cord with a rotating base.
