i am engaged in events in shopping centers and on the road - I used to be suspicious of the Behringer brand, but once a working set of passive YAMAHA burned out, and I had to urgently buy something cheap and presentable - the choice fell on this model. I was shocked by the sound quality, lightness and ease of transportation of these speakers - I will buy at least three more of these sets and recommend them to everyone. The quality of the German two-way acoustics Behringer Eurolive B115D wins the hearts of even the most demanding users. This is not surprising — the equipment costing about $ 400 has everything for organizing acoustic accompaniment of conferences, celebrations and even concert performances.
Technique thought out to the smallest detail
The first thing worth noting is the thoughtful design of the cabinet. The trapezoidal cabinet allows floor mounting as a stage monitor, while the glass mount allows placement on a stand. Three ergonomic plastic handles for transportation are recessed into the body and do not spoil the laconic design. Their number is fully justified by the weight of the product — almost 18 kg, which makes carrying not too comfortable for one person.
Two powerful speakers for loud sound
Responsible for the sound is a 1.35" high-frequency driver with a wide horn and a long-throw 15" woofer. The system operates in the range of 45 Hz — 20 kHz and can produce a peak power of 1 kW, which will be enough to sound the hall for 100 people. The sound remains transparent even at high volumes, the basses work out well, although a bit harshly.
An integrated processor, class D amplifier and two-channel mixer are responsible for the purity of the sound. Each channel has a line-in, XLR microphone-compatible input, a volume control, and a clipping indicator.
