The volume can be adjusted or, if necessary, turned off completely. The Beurer BM49 tonometer can measure blood pressure in the range from 0 to 300 mmHg. with an accuracy of ±3 mm Hg. Regularly measuring blood pressure during the week, you can find out the average value, which the device will independently calculate from the data accumulated in the memory.

In addition, the frequency and rhythm of heart contractions are recorded. In the event of a heart rhythm disturbance, a special mark will appear on the screen, reporting an arrhythmia. Frequent repetition of the appearance of such a mark will be the reason for a visit to the doctor. The device is equipped with a standard cuff with coverage from 22 to 36 cm, which is suitable for most users. To power the tonometer, four AA cells are required, and it is advisable to use alkaline batteries (LR6).
