heats water quickly, charges well, and with some skill it’s easy to light.
the noise from the blower operation is mind boggling after half an hour of operation; you often have to shake it out and re-ignite it, as it burns out and clogs quickly. and of course expensive.

Effective and harmless

The BioLite brand burner is a 210x127 mm portable stove that runs on solid fuels, including brushwood and branches, cones and nut shells, as well as pellets and other types of biofuels. The furnace provided here allows you to burn them completely. At the same time, it is stated that BioLite Campstove 2 does not produce acrid smoke or burning, and does not have a negative impact on the environment.

In terms of performance, the model is comparable to gas counterparts. It takes 4.5 minutes to bring a liter of water to a temperature of 100 °C.

Converting heat into electricity

The original feature of the model is the built-in generator, which converts thermal energy into electricity, and it feeds the 2600 mAh battery available here. As a result, the burner will replace the power bank, that is, it will allow you to charge your smartphone, navigator or other mobile devices powered by USB. The charging power is low (up to 3 W), but far from civilization, this will be enough.

Included with the burner is a FlexLight LED flashlight. Also, the device can be equipped with additional accessories, including a kettle, grill, etc. Their presence / absence should be checked with the sellers before placing an order.

Convenient management

The BioLite Campstove 2 has a blower fan to adjust the flame strength. It has four modes of operation, and the more intense the air supply, the higher the temperature in the combustion chamber will be and the capacity of the built-in battery will fill up faster.
