Two modes, zero interchangeable nozzles

The Black & Decker KX1650 hair dryer has only two modes of operation. The first one (temperature 460 °C and low air flow rate) is designed for drying paint coatings, heating heat-shrinkable materials and defrosting pipelines. The second mode (temperature 600 °C and high air flow rate) is used for removing paint and varnish, as well as soldering the joints of PVC pipelines.

The KX1650 dryer comes with several types of interchangeable nozzles: conical, wide, glass-protective, with a reflector and a scraper. But none of these are included (although even less prestigious manufacturers include accessories with their hair dryers). Therefore, nozzles, if they are necessary for your work, must be purchased separately.

Good tool for not too difficult tasks

The manufacturer warns and even emphasizes that the Black & Decker KX1650 hair dryer is absolutely not intended for professional use. For intensive work and complex tasks, Black & Decker has more serious models. And the KX1650 hair dryer is a small, lightweight (only 600 g) and simple design tool that is suitable for those who are independently engaged in minor repairs at home, in the country or in the garage.
