High output power

The Bosch DIB 97IM50 vertical island hood with a 90 cm wide T-shaped “umbrella” is characterized by high performance and 3 built-in metal filters that remove up to 90% of fat particles from the air. This is a model from the Serie 4 (standard) series, which unites a large family of kitchen hoods of various types. The device can be mounted on a ceiling ventilation outlet Ø 120 and 150 mm (includes an adapter and a non-return valve). The maximum output of the 256 W motor corresponds to an output of 754 m³/h in forced air extraction mode. This value allows you to classify the device as a powerful hood. The electric motor has 3 fan speeds, which provide peak discharge capacities of 438 m³/h and recirculation of 390 m³/h.

Quiet operation at base speeds

The device has a proprietary Power boost option that allows you to "accelerate" the speed of the incoming air flow within 5 seconds. Another plus was the unexpectedly quiet operation of the hood at 3 regular power levels (45 – 57 dB), to which it owes additional sound insulation. The touch panel with electronic control TouchControl provides convenient control of all settings and functions of the device. The hob area is illuminated by 4 LED lamps with a total power of 6 W (brightness 409 lux) with a colour temperature of 3500 K (warm light). They are located in the corners of the air intake panel and evenly illuminate the working space of the cooker. The hood corresponds to energy class B and consumes only 74 kWh of electricity per year. You should be aware that for operation in recirculation mode, you will need a basic kit and an active replacement filter, which are not included in the delivery. The device is manufactured at the main specialized enterprise in Germany.
