The main feature of the Canon PIXMA G3430 MFP is the large ink reserve in the CISS (black ink enough for 6000 pages, color ink for 7000 pages at 5% coverage). Black ink is pigment-based, quick-drying, and does not smudge when exposed to water or highlighter use.
The speed of monochrome (11 ppm, ISO) and color printing (6 ppm, ISO) is sufficient for personal use, while producing a 10x15 cm photo takes 45 seconds.
