High-quality synthetic motor oil from the reputable manufacturer Castrol, produced for both gasoline and diesel power units under the hood of passenger cars. It is intended to be used in engines for which motor oils of ACEA C3, API SN or earlier specifications are recommended. Castrol Edge 5W-40 4L is approved for use by leading automakers, including VAG, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, etc.
The key feature of the lubricant is the presence of a unique titanium polymer, which is designed to increase the strength of the oil film. Titanium compounds prevent film rupture and prevent “dry” friction of moving engine parts. This ensures the most efficient operation of the power unit with an eye to the long term (even under intensive use conditions). The lubricant suppresses the formation of deposits, is resistant to high and low temperatures, and increases engine efficiency with regular use. The last factor has been confirmed in practice in independent tests of motor oil.
