Model overview based on user reviews
The Continental ContiCrossContact Winter tire is praised for its low cost and good quality, offering wear resistance and reliable performance on both dry and wet asphalt. It handles puddles and slush effectively, although handling isn't exceptional. However, it is totally unsuitable for ice or packed snow, as the braking distance increases significantly and handling worsens. If ice is uncommon in your area or winters are mild, this tire is a justified purchase. However, in icy conditions, it's advisable to avoid driving.
Pros
Cons
If ice in your city isn't very common or the winter isn't too harsh, then you can safely purchase this tire, the purchase will be justified. But if the roads suddenly become icy, it's better to stay home. Low cost and fairly good quality of manufacture. Wear-resistant. Performs well on both dry and wet asphalt. Totally unsuitable for ice or packed snow. Handles puddles well, no issues on wet asphalt either. Even slush doesn't scare it (although the handling isn't very high). But on ice, things get tricky, you need to be extremely cautious! The braking distance increases significantly, and handling worsens considerably. |
