Purchased for a MacBook. The cable from the Type-C adapter doesn't fit into the computer. The power adapter from the computer with a Type-C connector fits perfectly into the Mac. But the hub's connector just won't fit. We tested it on three different computers. The connector visually has no defects. We managed to force it into a Lenovo with great effort, but the computer doesn't charge through this adapter. The instructions say nothing about this. The seller refused to take back the adapter, claiming that it should charge, and if it doesn't, we must have burned it out. Meanwhile, the mouse, keyboard, and memory card reader work. The HDD doesn't spin up. There's not enough power. Through the Type-C output, the mobile phone transfers data, but it doesn't charge. Network equipment and computer peripherals are two pillars on which the Taiwanese company D-LINK rests. To expand the list of devices connected to a computer or laptop, the brand's portfolio includes a number of USB hubs. One of these is named after DUB-2325.
External power
The model mimics a compact oblong box with body dimensions of 108x35x14 mm. On one narrow side of its case, you can see a USB-C cord for connecting to a computer, on the other side there is a microUSB connector for supplying power from an external source. Through it, the hub receives additional energy from the network and supplies power of the appropriate power to each of its inputs.
Basic set of interfaces
In terms of connectors , the D-Link DUB-2325 got hold of two USB-A, one USB-C and a couple of slots for different memory cards. Unfortunately, there are no video outputs on board the hub.
