Model overview based on user reviews
The D-Link DWA-192 Wi-Fi adapter offers a unique design and the ability to turn off its backlight, which some users may find appealing. However, it has significant drawbacks, as it does not perform its primary function reliably. Users have reported that it periodically shuts down, often at inconvenient times, causing disruptions, especially during gaming. Additionally, the device heats up considerably, which is disappointing. While it may suffice for simple internet browsing tasks, for the price, there are more reliable options available. Overall, it may not be the best choice for users seeking a stable and efficient Wi-Fi connection.
Pros

Cons

Suitable for simple tasks, but for this money, you can purchase a more worthy option.

I have been using it for six months on my PC.
Design, as silly as it may sound, the ability to turn off the device's backlight, that's all.
It does NOT perform its primary function, periodically shuts down, and usually does so at the most inconvenient times, causing some programs to crash. However, if you need it for internet browsing, this won't hinder you in any way. It's terrible for gaming. It heats up quite a lot, which is also disappointing.
