Video reviews

When creating the Dali Oberon 3 speaker system, Danish developers took into account the requirements of users as much as possible: the stereo pair has an excellent appearance, the same sound and not too high a price.

Creative design solutions

The speaker cabinet measures 35x20x32 cm and is made of high density fibreboard with a vinyl coating. Anti-resonance properties are provided by rigid internal struts. To soften the bass and better reveal the mid frequencies, damping material pads are installed on the inner walls. The model is available in 4 colours: black ash, white, dark walnut and light oak, and pleases with a variety of grill colours. Light columns come with a light grey grid for matting, and black and brown with black.

Power in a compact package

Two-way acoustics is equipped with two speakers — HF 29 mm and MF / HF 177 mm, reproducing a frequency range of 47 – 26000 Hz. The sound impresses with transparent and bright highs, detailed and clear mids and elastic homogeneous basses, and the stage is built wide and large-scale, with a good study of space. The phase inverter already at medium volume shows itself exclusively on the positive side. It does not produce any audible artifacts and generally attracts minimal attention to itself.

In general, Dali Oberon 3 is definitely worth your attention. This is not only a great alternative to small floorstanders, but also a completely self-sufficient stereo pair with a good source and the right amplifier. Flaws in detailing and transmission of full timbre balance can be heard, perhaps, when playing complex recordings in Hi-Res quality. But here we run into the cost of the system — $ 600, which explains everything.
