The cooler does its job well, I have an FX-6300 and it fits perfectly. The lighting is nice and adjustable. However, you need to make sure it fits in the case; if the case is narrow, it may not fit. I also didn't like that it can't be installed on the native backplate for AM3, and the one that comes with the cooler doesn't seem very good to me; it's plastic. Cools as it should, the lighting is adjustable, not noisy.
