Hello everyone, I purchased this humidifier not too long ago, about a month ago. For its price, I believe it does its job well, with 5L lasting for a day on the second speed setting, and there's definitely an effect. At night, it is about 1.5 meters from my head, and I wouldn't say it's noisy. Regarding the white dust around the device, as others have mentioned, we haven't experienced this issue because we use purchased water with low calcium and other content. Price, ease of operation. After reading Dr. Komarovsky, I decided that we urgently needed a humidifier for the child's room. I decided to choose an inexpensive one since I had never used such devices before and wanted to understand the principle of operation first. I was able to partially achieve this with that model. It was important for me that this device not only increased humidity in the room but also worked quietly. The manual states 36 dB as the upper limit. In reality, it is much noisier; we hear it more than the elevator. It wouldn't be an issue because white noise is beneficial for a child's sleep, but it doesn't work continuously, it switches on and off. As a result, the child wakes up. To be fair, I must note that the humidity level does indeed rise. I didn't immediately figure out where the white residue on the furniture came from. Over time, I realized that this started with the appearance of this device in the room. It appeared within a meter radius of the humidifier. It behaves like a cheap iron, spraying limescale. And since ours is also black, I got exhausted from cleaning it, because this "dandruff" ruins the entire appearance.
