The advantage of DeWalt' s Flexvolt batteries is that they can be used to power both 54v tools (like the DCH333) and 18v tools (like the DCD996). The DCB547 batteries included in this kit have a capacity of 3.0ah when used in conjunction with 54v tools, or 9.0ah with 18v tools. The DCD996 combi drill can also be used with any of the smaller and lighter batteries from the standard 18v XR range when required. The DCD996 is an extremely powerful combi drill which can supply up to 95Nm of torque so it is supplied with a side handle for increased safety and control.
