Dobe TNS-1188

Wired controller designed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, operating on a principle different from most gamepads: the console is inserted directly into the device's body, transforming the setup into a single portable unit — similar to how the standard Joy-Cons attach to the console, but with a noticeably more comfortable grip. Connection via USB-C is automatic when the console is inserted, requiring no additional pairing or setup.

An essential practical feature is that the controller's port supports pass-through charging: you can connect the original Switch power adapter or any PD-compatible 15V unit and continue playing without worrying about the console's battery draining. The Dobe TNS-1188 gamepad's control set is expanded compared to the standard Joy-Cons: 18 buttons, including four extra rear programmable buttons, allowing frequently used commands to be assigned to your ring and middle fingers.

Both sticks are symmetrically positioned at the top of the case, with two bumpers, two triggers, and a 4-position D-pad. A six-axis gyroscope provides motion control — a feature without which some Switch games lose part of the gaming experience. Feedback is implemented with two vibration motors, and additional features include a Turbo mode and a dedicated screenshot button. The controller is powered by the console itself via USB-C.
