Doogee S68 Pro 128 GB
![]() |
A fancy "off-road" smartphone with serious ambitions. The device is dressed in a brutal "uniform" with the claimed degree of water protection IP68, additionally protecting the "body" of the gadget from exposure to high temperatures and hot water jets under pressure (IP69K). The “face” of the smartphone is a “mono-browed” screen of 5.9-inch dimensions diagonally with an image resolution of FullHD + (2280x1080 pixels).
The front panel of the Doogee S68 Pro is “under cover” of tempered glass Gorilla Glass 4. From under the brows, the smartphone “looks” at the user with the “eye” of a 16 MP selfie camera, which is also the leading link in the face unlock system of the mobile device. An additional authentication method is provided by the fingerprint scanner pad on the rear panel. A triple photomodule 21 + 8 + 8 MP is adjacent to the fingerprint sensor from the rear. The high performance of the smartphone is ensured by an advanced hardware base: an eight-core MediaTek Helio P70 chipset in combination with 6/128 GB of memory. In pursuit, the device was armed with an NFC, as well as a powerful 6300 mAh battery with support for fast and wireless “tank refilling” technologies. Charging "by air" is performed in both directions.

Bright display. Autonomy is good. The toys don't break. It fell into containers of water several times, including in a swimming pool, but survived without any problems. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back panel! Loud speaker, too many high frequencies. Protruding parts of the case on the rear panel. use Doogee S68 Pro more than year |
I don’t like the display design (I thought I’d get used to it when I took it). The lack of a 3.6 connector is inconvenient. Poor internet on this phone compared to others. Because of this, I'm going to buy a new smartphone. The print works great. Holds a charge for a long time. Great power. The camera is good. If someone pisses you off, you can throw this device at him (nothing will happen to the phone). It's nice to hold, but if there is no frost, because... There are iron inserts on the sides. Due to the lack of a 3.5 connector, you have to constantly buy adapters, and they, in turn, are very unreliable. The speaker is very bad. At volumes above half, it wheezes like an old man. Gets very hot on wireless charging. It takes a long time to cool down if it gets hot. The display frames are very large. The cutout for the camera is very annoying. The thing for attaching a strap/string to the phone interferes, namely: when the phone is lying down, when you press the screen, the phone tilts and hits the surface, which over time begins to infuriate. Differences between phones. You look at the reviews and everyone has something and something they don’t. The internet on this device is worse than on others. use Doogee S68 Pro more than year |
As in the "Caucasian Captive", cursed be the day when I took this clunker in my hands. Good hardware, handles everything I need, and it's one of those rare devices that can operate for a whole day with all my needs. Oh man, where do I start? First, I wanted to throw this junk away the moment I started using wireless chargers. With the screen on, if you're driving and your phone is on the wireless charger, the screen glitches terribly, as if you're randomly tapping all over it like a chicken clawing. It gets fixed with a restart, and every trip to the car is stressful. Another wireless charger even got burnt out by it, and I bought expensive chargers. Second, no matter how much I turned off power-saving modes and tried all sorts of things, when you lock the screen, all messaging apps eventually go to sleep, and you won't receive any notifications until you manually open the app. I'm fed up with checking everything every 15 minutes. Third, the GPS is a nightmare; it can easily be off by a block, constantly messing up directions. Fourth, the NFC module works very poorly; when you bring the phone to the terminal, the payment almost never goes through on the first try. Fifth, the autofocus in the camera is just guessing; no matter how much you tap on the screen to focus on the right spot, it doesn't care, and everything is blurred. To get it focused, you have to put the object in the center and pray it understands what you want. I have a basis for comparison; I previously had a Blackview BV9600 Pro (which broke), and I'll be returning to that brand. |
The “battleship” Doogee S68 Pro is an optimally “charged” smartphone for its price. Its "innards" served as a haven for a balanced electronic hardware, and for an increased capacity battery, and for many other tidbits. But first things first.
Protective shell
Brutal features dominate in the appearance of the mobile device. This is due to the characteristic protective shell with the claimed degree of dust and water protection IP68, which is resistant to falls and the effects of hot water jets under pressure (IP69K). The most vulnerable spot of the smartphone (and this is the display) is covered by the protective glass Gorilla Glass 4.
Balanced hardware
The basis of the "underhood" equipment of the mobile gadget was the performant "octa-core" MediaTek Helio P70. Together with 6/128 GB of memory, the hardware will not let you down either in everyday life or in the mobile gaming genre. In the AnTuTu performance test, the “hardware” of the device knocks out about 150K “points”. The smartphone owner is offered to see the picture on a 5.9-inch diagonal screen with a resolution of 2280x1080 pixels.
Triple main camera
The screen view of the Doogee S68 Pro slightly spoils the unibrow cutout for the 16 MP selfie camera lens. Along with the rear fingerprint scanner, the front camera can be used to identify the owner of the device. Also on the “loin” side of the body of the gadget are three “eyes” of the main camera: the main sensor is 21 MP in the company of ultra-wide and telephoto (each 8 MP).
Charging in both directions
The crowning "trick" of the model is the ability to stay "afloat" for a long time without energy replenishment from the outside. A long battery life of the smartphone is provided by a capacious 6300 mAh battery. Yes, not simple, but with support for fast wired charging (24 W) and two-way wireless “refueling” of the tank with electricity. In the “over the air” charging mode, in some instances of the device, the sensitivity of the sensor is sometimes disturbed. In addition, the smartphone got an NFC chip, as an integral attribute of every respectful device from the middle strata of the mobile gadgets society.
