Third camera module
One of the key differences between the Google Pixel 10 and its predecessor is the addition of a telephoto lens with optical zoom. The main module still features optical image stabilization, although the sensor resolution has been reduced from 50 to 48 MP. Adding a third camera required a compromise with the ultra-wide-angle lens: it received a 13 MP sensor instead of the 48 MP one in the Pixel 9. Nevertheless, thanks to Google’s proprietary software processing, the Google Pixel 10 128 GB delivers high-quality shooting in various conditions, including low-light scenes.
Good battery life and convenient charging
The Google Pixel 10 128 GB runs pure Android 16 and will receive updates for 7 years, making the smartphone well suited for long-term use. The 6.3-inch 120 Hz OLED display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The same glass, combined with a metal frame, is used in the body construction, which meets the IP68 protection rating. In addition to 5G, the model supports satellite connectivity for sending an SOS signal in areas without mobile coverage.
The battery capacity is a relatively modest 4970 mAh, but good optimization allows you to expect at least a full day of use. In the PCMark test, the smartphone delivers nearly 16 hours of continuous battery life. Charging options include a 29 W wired adapter and 15 W wireless technology. Once the charge reaches 80%, bypass charge mode becomes available, supplying power directly to the components during resource-intensive tasks while bypassing the battery.
For most scenarios except mobile gaming
The smartphone features the proprietary Tensor G5 processor with a maximum frequency of 3.78 GHz, as well as 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The chip has become more powerful in everyday tasks and more energy-efficient than its predecessor, but the model is not the best choice for demanding games. Under such workloads, the processor falls behind flagship Snapdragon solutions and Apple’s proprietary chips.
