The Dream Machines family of 15.6-inch laptops are portable gaming PCs released in 2023 and 2024. They represent the middle and advanced price segment and are able to satisfy the needs of many computer game connoisseurs. The main feature of the models in the line is the presence of a discrete graphics adapter NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 with 6 GB of GDDR6 generation video memory, support for ray tracing and virtual reality technologies.
Judging by the tests, such an accelerator will provide consistently high fps in many AAA games (at Full HD resolution on almost any settings). Dream Machines RG4050-15 V155RNCQ laptops received a matte WVA screen with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels and a high refresh rate (144 Hz), designed to improve the smoothness of video in dynamic shooters and more. The hardware of the line also includes multi-core 13th generation Intel Core processors, and in older configurations we are talking about a 14-core, 20-thread engine with a clock frequency of 1.8 GHz (and overclocked to 5 GHz).
The system's performance is helped by DDR5-4800 MHz RAM: its default capacity ranges from 16 to 32 GB, but can be increased by the user up to 64 GB if desired. An SSD M.2 solid-state drive is offered for data storage, and a 53 Wh rechargeable battery with a complete 180-watt power supply is responsible for autonomous operation. Among other features of the models, it is worth highlighting the presence of an RGB backlit keyboard, a gigabit LAN port and a Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) module to ensure a stable Internet connection and the absence of lags during online gaming. Plus, it is possible to connect up to 2 monitors (both HDMI and miniDisplayPort v 1.4 are provided).
