Created by a Pro Rider
The new arrival in Drone's 2026 lineup is a street scooter designed for intense urban tricks. The model was developed with the participation of professional rider Kai Sanders, nicknamed "Saundezy," and essentially serves as an improved version of the Element V1.
The Drone Saundezy features reliable SCS compression with a 4-bolt clamp and a large deck with an increased width of 12.7 cm. The dropouts are designed in a boxed end shape, simplifying slides and other sliding tricks. Additionally, the rear part is removable, so worn-out parts can be replaced after strong impacts or prolonged wear.
Endless Spin
The scooter's running gear includes 11 cm wheels with ABEC 9 bearings, which provide excellent roll and help maintain speed longer without frequent pushes. The hard 88A polyurethane tires are well-suited for extreme jumps on asphalt, while the aluminum cores enhance the overall strength of the wheels. It's also worth mentioning the shortened compromise-type rear brake, which also functions as a fender to protect against accidental wheel contact.
One of the weak points of the model in the context of aggressive street riding is the aluminum handlebar. On one hand, it reduces the scooter's weight to 3.4 kg, makes it more maneuverable, and allows for an increased diameter tube for a comfortable grip. On the other hand, aluminum is less resistant to constant impact loads compared to steel. Overall, the Drone Saundezy can be considered a successful option for street tricks and further rider progression.
It is also worth mentioning the Saundezy Nexus version. It is heavier, weighing 3.7 kg, as it is equipped with a larger and wider deck and a slightly longer steel handlebar.
