The natural cork stopper has a metal cap to provide a better anchor for the twine retainer giving the bottle a classy finishing touch.In one concession to modernity, the interior of the bottle has a thoroughly modern antibacterial food-grade coating, because Dysentery may be 'period correct' but it's certainly not cool.Whilst the bottle's 74mm diameter will fit standard modern bottle cages, it's rigid structure may make insertion or removal difficult, ideally it should be used with an Elite Eroica cage which clamps the bottle with a lever.operated catch.A true collectors item.
