It is an affordable model in the updated 2024 EcoTank line from Epson, designed for budget-conscious users who value low printing costs without extra features. The main advantage remains the built-in CISS with increased capacity tanks—one refill of black ink is sufficient for printing 8100 pages, and color ink lasts for 6500 pages, making the cost of device ownership one of the most attractive in the market.

Despite its introductory positioning, the printing specifications match more expensive models: the output speed for monochrome documents reaches 33 pages per minute, color documents—15 pages, and the high resolution of 5760x1440 dpi ensures quality printing of both text and photographs.
