Lightweight and compact

The model representing the Light Line series of the Italian brand Ferrino is optimal for hiking and cycling. It has two important trekking advantages, namely, light weight (just over 2 kg) and compact size, both folded and unfolded.

Ferrino Flare 2 will take up little space in the complete compression case (39x17x17 cm), which means it will fit in small travel backpacks. When unfolded, it requires less than 5 square metres (225x210 cm), so finding a place to camp will be a little easier.

Comfortable for two

With quite comfortable dimensions of the bed (135x210 cm), the tent received two vestibules: small and large (length, respectively, 20 and 70 cm), and one entrance per person. This will allow not to interfere and not embarrass each other, as well as organize good cross-ventilation if the ventilation windows cannot cope with this task. Of the pleasant things, there are mosquito nets, inside pockets and a lantern hook at the dome.

Non-standard frame with two arcs

The hemispherical shape of the Ferrino Flare 2 is set by a pair of aluminium arcs. They differ not only in colour (for ease of assembly), but also in length. So, the presence of a shortened stand, not fixed in the ground, reduced the total weight of the tent, and also helps to flexibly adjust the height and do without pegs, where they are often useless (in sand, on snow, etc.). However note that three points of support in strong winds will lose in terms of stability to the usual four.

It is recommended to use the model in the period from spring to autumn. The bottom is especially well prepared for frequent precipitation and moisture (water resistance 8000 mm), while the outer awning has a standard figure of 3000 mm. The polyester fabric in the area of the corners is reinforced and instead of one it provides three layers at once.
