Ferrino Pilier 2

The expedition 2-person tent by Ferrino is an advanced price category solution designed for challenging outdoor excursions. The manufacturer recommends it for use at high altitudes and/or in bad weather, including snowfalls and severe cold, classifying it as an all-season product. The aluminum frame (three poles with a diameter of 8.5mm) offers moderate weight (just 3.2 kg excluding guylines and pegs), good durability, and preparedness for sudden temperature changes, which are not recommended for fiberglass counterparts.

The Ferrino Pilier 2 tent features a sleeping area with a width from 120 to 130 cm, has one entrance to the living room with a vestibule of 70 cm in length where outerwear, shoes, backpacks, and other gear can be left. The outer tent is made from thickened polyester fabric (50D) with Ripstop tear protection and a coating providing excellent water resistance up to 4000 mm.

The base is even thicker (70D) and offers even better moisture protection — 8000 mm. Key features include standard mosquito nets (which can be fully opened and folded into a special pocket above the door), internal pockets, a loop for a lantern, a shelf for small items, ventilation sleeves easily sealed from inside, and reflective elements on the guylines, which are highly visible in the dark.
